Insanely Easy Exp in Final Fantasy IV (SNES) - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
In Final Fantasy II for the SNES (also known as Final Fantasy IV for the Super Famicom) there's an easy way to exploit a bug that will grant you additional experience in battle.
If you are somehow able to use a revival effect on an enemy after it dies in combat, the game will reward you with extra EXP as if you had defeated an additional one of those monsters.
The problem is that once an enemy is gone from battle, there is no way to target it. So, in order to take advantage of this glitch, it's best to use a Life potion or Life spell on an enemy just as another party member is landing the killing blow on that enemy.
The most practical application of this glitch AFAIK is inside the Giant of Bab-Il. If you can find a Searcher enemy who will summon the D. Machin when attacked, you can use this bug to farm many many D. Machin dragons for a huge payout of experience.
Find the Searcher who will spawn D. Machin dragons (bop the Searcher with a physical attack to see what enemy he will summon). Is he spawns a D. Machin, use FuSoYa to cast Weak on the D. Machin. This will bring the dragon monster to very low HP. Then, have one of your other party members defeat the D. Machin, and IMMEDIATELY use another character to use a Life potion on the D. Machin as he is getting rekt. The game will award you with experience equal to two of these D. Machin monsters. If you're REALLY good (and I am not) you can queue up two characters with Life potions on the same dying D. Machin to get 3x experience from one D. Machin.
Anyway, just keep doing this until you feel as though you've KO'd enough dragons. When you're done, close out the battle and you'll earn a whole ton of EXP. In the example I provided in the video, each of my characters was able to level up 4 or more times in just one battle.
Side note, I know my editing was a little lazy for this one, but I am feeling run down and tired today so gimme a break! XD
