Repair Items for Free in Shining Force II (Sega Genesis) - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
2,698In Shining Force II for the Sega Genesis, if you deposit a magical item into the storehouse of your caravan then retrieve it, that item's durability will be repaired. This trick can save you a bunch of time and money because it can be performed on the world map as long as you have your caravan with you. And it's free.
See normally when you use a magical item in combat, it casts some dumb spell or whatever, and there's a chance that magical item will begin to crack. When that happens, you need to repair it, or else the next time you use it, the item will disappear.
Typically repairing items is fairly easy. All you need to do is find a weapon shop in some town and ask the guy to repair your cracked item. And generally it's not all that expensive, but it can be time consuming, especially if you're nowhere near a town.
So exploiting this glitch is often easier AND cheaper. Again, just put your cracked item in the storehouse of your caravan, then take it back out again. Good as new!
