Card games often feel like a shortcut to create mechanics for a game without investing much effort, but this game uses cards as part of the narrative in some pretty flipped up ways. When the cards started talking to me, I knew I picked the right game. It's a shame I decided not to spoil it for everyone, because there were so many weird-ass parts in the rest I could have made mildly funny jokes about.
