0Insect Swarm is an awesome escalation swarm shooter in development. You gather crystals and shoot alien swarms to improve your ship so that you can have the equipment to kill alien swarms more efficiently. I am having a lot of fun. The music was a little generic so I changed it to something more cool. The weapons have a lot of impact, the aliens are clearly feeling the hits since they get knocked back and the models move in such a way that they look awesome striking them repeatedly. The graphics and attention to detail are great. I love it when I run into one of the larger ones and they flip over and wave their legs trying to get back up. The environment is pretty cool but I hope for more variations as the game develops. The only landmarks are the obelisks that activate and force you to fight swarms in the eye of the sandstorm. The rewards for accomplishing this are well worth it. Great shooter, cant wait to see what comes next. Hope you enjoy my video.
