Inside a high-end VCR ๐ผ & demonstration with VHS (JVC HR-S9700EU)
58A peek inside the inner workings of a high-end VCR for VHS and S-VHS cassettes while in operation. The VCR shown in this video is a JVC HR-S9700EU which supports VHS an S-VHS cassettes and also a recording mode to record S-VHS quality to a regular VHS cassette called Super VHS ET. The features Digital TBC/NR, digital time base corrector and noise reduction and B.E.S.T automatic tracking were enabled throughout the video.
See the timestamps below to see the demonstrations that can be found in this video. The E-200 cassette tape has some Dutch television recordings on it from what looks like around the year 1994. One of the programmes that can be seen is "Eigen Huis & Tuin" which is still being broadcast to this day.
