A tokamak is a device which uses a powerful magnetic field to confine plasma in the shape of a torus. The tokamak is one of several types of magnetic confinement devices being developed to produce controlled thermonuclear fusion power.
Investigations into heating of hot plasma thermal insulation to generate controllable thermonuclear reaction have been in progress for almost 50 years. And T-10 facility is the important milestone in this line. Let's have a look inside of this mega installation.
