0:00 Agares's Tower
Along the way, you'll find that Aaron and Leith are dead, since they outlived their usefulness and were starting to resist Agares's mind control.
2:55 Boss: Agares
4:21 Opening the Gate
Agares decides to use his powers to destroy Earth out of spite, so Cait Sith sacrifices herself to open the gate so we can banish him.
7:25 Boss: Akira vs Agares
9:05 Trapping Agares
Agares is trapped in the Gate, but his soul remains, so he pulls the entire party into the Gate too.
10:03 Airship Attack Flashback
This scene shows the time when Agares attacked the airship that Melody was taking refuge on. Akira goes berserk and kills Eiko and Shizuka, causing Echo to call her a killer.
14:02 Dimension in the Gate
You have to split into three teams, but make sure Akira, Doken, and Zephyr are in different teams, since they're the only ones who can consistently survive enemy AOEs.
You have to get all three teams to the end of their respective stages, causing them to unite again.
If you're willing to cheese with Doken, you probably only need to be level 50-60 to win the upcoming fights.
Agares is stronger here, so he takes control of Zephyr. Hope you didn't put him in the party.
30:47 Boss: Zephyr
31:23 One Last Chance
You can return to the save point and even put Zephyr back in the party before fighting Agares again. I equipped Reina's axe to get the bad ending, but I don't know if putting Echo in the party at the same time conflicts with the ending conditions.
33:06 Boss: God Agares (Axe/No Echo)
Berserker Akira actually has red glowing eyes. Why does Reina even have this axe to begin with?
This fight can go either great or poorly for those who aren't part of the OP trio, but as long as you have Doken, you should be able to end this fairly quickly.
34:33 Void Angel
The power of the Gate overwhelms Agares. It turns out the Void Angel of legend is the one in charge here, and she is now nihilistic because people like Agares abuse their magic powers.
36:35 Boss: Gate
Her wings act as separate minions, but Doken can take them out. Unfortunately, like all the recent bosses, she's fast enough that she'll probably wipe out all the weaker party members. Maybe Doken had a point in telling certain party members to opt out of the conflict. He's literally carrying everyone.
38:10 Bad Ending
Akira forces the Gate to open back to Gaia, but falls into a coma in the process.
Note that the sky is red when the party returns to their airship.
The party moves on with their lives, with Akira's friends taking care of her comatose body. Zephyr is looking into getting Isha to take over leadership of Mirrikh, since he feels that his bloodline has caused too much damage.
Unfortunately, when Akira wakes up, she remembers when Echo tried to choke her and states that Echo should have finished the job to prevent all the tragedy with the Gate and Agares. She then loses control of her powers and nukes the entire planet.
54:32 Good Ending
I somehow did worse in the final battles, due to more party members getting killed.
To get this, you have to win without equipping Reina's or having Echo in the party. It plays out the same, only Akira wakes up and reconciles with Echo despite what happened in their past.
1:06:19 True Ending
Have Echo in the party, but don't equip the axe.
A lot of the ending scenes change, such as Ferrik not accompanying Kachie and Zephyr taking over leadership of Mirrikh.
Akira shows no signs of waking up and her days are numbered, so Echo uses an unexplained magic to wake Akira up at the cost of her life. I'm not sure what kind of butterfly effect caused things to turn out differently from the Good Ending.
That's it for this bizarrely unbalanced game. I don't know if I should try the sequel.
