73We could not be more excited to announce our new show called "Inside The Gilliverse". What is a Gilliverse you may ask? A Gilliverse is the all encompassing universe where the shows "Breaking Bad", "El Camino" and "Better Call Saul" call home. All inspired by the creations of Vince Gilligan. (with spin off show co-created with Peter Gould)
Hosted by writer/producer/director Thomas Schnauz (on temporary hiatus) & Eric Broadbent, we talk about all things related to these fantastic shows.
Each week we'll feature great guests from cast to crew with our goal to give you some fun & insightful content to help make the wait for the series finale of Better Call Saul a bit easier.
My guest in this episode is one of the incredible writers for Better Call Saul, Gordon Smith. Gordon has been responsible for writing 10 episodes of Better Call Saul from seasons 1 through 5, including many fan favourites such as Season 3's "Chicanery", Season 4's "Something Beautiful" & "Coushatta". There are so many great episodes written by Gordon in between as well. Gordon has directed an episode as well.
Plus we can't go without noting Season 5's "Bagman" that not only received a 2020 Emmy Award nomination for best drama, but was a big turning point for Jimmy McGill on his journey to becoming Saul Goodman.
Gordon's credits don't just stop here either, as he worked as a writer's assistant for many episodes of Breaking Bad as well.
We'll look back at several of the episodes he's written, get a feel for what it was like in the directors seat, a look ahead to Season 5 and so much more.
