INSIDIOUS Key Face Demon makeup (Insidious: The Last Key)
Here is my makeup transformation of "Key Face" from the latest horror movie "Insidious: The Last Key". I am always a fan the trilogy and a really huge Lin Shaye fan so just imagine the excitement. The disappointing part is it will be shown in my country (Philippines) too late. I am really nervous in putting up this makeup because I haven't seen the movie when I recorded and uploaded this video. All I have are photos from different trailers and teasers. I hope I got it close.
Another thing, pardon if I don't have a voice over of the step-by-step tutorial. But here you go:
-Start setting your hair and wearing your latex bald.
-Cut the excess edges
-Start sticking and blending the edges witch liquid latex
-I used Graftobian scar wax to cover my brows
-Then im going wear my latex prosthetic appliance. I made this by molding the prosthetic in my face cast and casting it with plaster.
-Stick and blend the edges of the appliance with liquid latex
-Paint the teeth with Snazaroo white water color face paint
-Paint the gum area with Snazaroo pink watercolour face paint
-Do some contours and dimensions in the gums with Red Snazaroo watercolour face paint
-Paint the hollow in the nose and inside of the mouth with black snazaroo water color face paint
-Then im going to mix my white face paint, skin tone foundation, and lil bit of black water color and paint the mixture all over my face.
-Cut the earholes and paint ears
-Smoke and contour the eye areas with black paint
-Do the same thing in the cheek area
-Again using the black paint, I’m going to draw some lines for the details
-Im going to blend the lines with clean brush
-Then im going to grab my BYS fake blood and dab it around the mouth area
-Then im going to grab some cutted synthetic wigs and stick in my head with liquid latex
-For the hands, I shaped and bake some polymer clay for the keys and painted it with acrylic
-Then Im going to stuck it in my fingers and blend it in my fingers with cotton and liquid latex
-Let it dry completely before painting it with the same tone we mixed for the face and neck
-I added some scars by saturating the hands with liquid latex and pinching some holes into it
-Then im going to paint the scars with BYS bruise wheel
-Im going to add a lil bit of fake blood
-Then Ill pop in my contact lenses by gwyshop.com
-Paint body and neck with the same mixture/tone of the face
-DONE!
