Install an app with Flatpak Builder demo | GTK Color Picker 3 🏴☠️🗡️
basically i wanted a Color Picker and GColor3 wasn't available on Flathub so i open them an issue, here: https://github.com/Hjdskes/gcolor3/issues/87
and then i had to install it, till they push on Flathub, and i thought to demo the process for those that aren't familiar with it, although those are very basic stuff, but still quite awesome if you dont know them yet!
i skipped to demo the Flatpak SDKs installation, but you can just install GNOME Builder from Flathub, open the Flatpak manifest there, and it will set all the development environment automatically!
there is also this post by Alex on how we can deploy our very own Flatpak Stores/Repositories. it is a bit old, but still relevant
https://blogs.gnome.org/alexl/2017/02/10/maintaining-a-flatpak-repository/
oh btw if you install GColor3, it doesn't work on Wayland!
My flatpak version was 0.99.2
