In this video I cover a method of installing and playing League of Legends on Linux using Lutris.

https://leagueoflinux.org/install/lutris/

Step 1. Install GPU Drivers.

https://github.com/lutris/docs/blob/master/InstallingDrivers.md

Follow the instructions relevant for your distribution.

Step 2. Install Wine.

https://github.com/lutris/docs/blob/master/WineDependencies.md

Once again, Follow the instructions relevant for your distribution.

Step 3, Install Lutris.

https://lutris.net/downloads/

Install using the recommended method for your Linux distribution.

Step 4. Install League of Legends Through Lutris.

Open Lutris, click on the + button, and click on the "Search the Lutris website for installers".

In the window that appears, type in League of Legends, click on the result and select the Standard option.

From here, follow the installation prompts, but please take note of the below.

"There are two downloads one after the other; the initial client download and the Riot client download, make sure to wait for both downloads to finish."

"Also, do not enter your login details, login or click play, instead, quit the launcher when the two downloads have finished."

In either case, once the process has finished League of Legends will be installed, so launch it using Lutris.
