Lubuntu did change quite a lot from the last time I've tried it. The DE used is now LXQt, instead of LXDE. Even if I still like LXDE better for now, LXQt has potential.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to boot the installed system (because of the kernel panic hurray) but it's a daily build so that's to be expected. Still, I took a look at it using the Live CD (...or shall I say DVD) which works just fine.
