Installing Nvidia Drivers on openSuse Leap 42.3
Nvidia display drivers come sort of built-in to openSUSE, you just need to enable the repo to install them.
Yast makes it super easy to configure repositories and other software sources for zypper. All you need to to is go into the Software Repositories section and enable the Nvidia Drivers repository.
Once the Nvidia repo is enabled, either use Yast to search for and install the Nvidia drivers, or install them from the cli using zypper.
Keep in mind that this guide should not be used for openSUSE Tumbleweed. There are ways of installing Nvidia drivers on Tumbleweed but do so at your own risk and don't attempt to use the built-in repo to install them.
