Please disregard what I said about the hyperdrive, this was new to me when I did it. You CAN still get your hyperdrive up and running as normal, I just hadn't progressed far enough to do it yet when I made the video. So far the only issue should be finding the parts to fix your broken ship on the Anomaly.

Step 1: Load your game on normal mode and go to the Anomaly.

Step 2: Use the giant teleporter on the Anomaly to teleport to one of your bases.

Step 3: Once you arrive at your base, enter and exit your Starship to do a quicksave and then exit to mode select.

Step 4: Start/load your survival or permadeath game.

Step 5: press the Down arrow (down on D-pad) and select "return to space anomaly"

Congratulations, you've now entered the Anomaly without completing the quests to do it!


Additional Notes from DHarhanWulf: 1) When you use the above method, the Anomaly spawns in the same system you visited it from in Normal mode, allowing you to choose a specific system to access.
2) From the Anomaly, one can teleport to the Featured Bases to farm materials, and use the quick return function to jump back, highly useful for getting a PD/Survival file started.
3) If one has the Golden Vector unlocked, they can make their Normal save in a Core gateway star system, start a PD file, jump to the Anomaly, claim the G.Vector with a full Hyperdrive, fly it out, and jump Euclid's core, all in solo play and in under 10 minutes.
