I wrote a blog post a few months back on how to use a GoPro Hero 3 camera as a webcam for live streaming online.

(I've only tested this on Windows 7, however one of the commentators claims it works with Mac as well.)

This video tutorial shows the procedure step-by-step with the new updated version of VLC media player.

What I really need is to be able to connect to h.264 streams in manycam with audio.
Hopefully enough people will like this so that they add the feature, and there's quite a bit of desire for a phone app as well.
