Intel i7 9700K Has No Hyper Threading | Zen 2 IPC | Samsung Working on SGPU
We have yet more news on the Intel 9th generation, this time on the i7 9700K... AGAIN. Yet more evidence has surfaced that the 9700K is not going to have hyperthreading, which is very odd considering it is a direct successor to the 8700K. What could this mean for performance?
Following that, we have some more details on AMD's Zen 2, which is going to be the first 7nm consumer CPU from the company. We have more info on the IPC gains that we can expect to see from the next gen Ryzen.
We also have news that Samsung have something tasty in the graphics card department, that apparently is going to cause a stir in the big dogs in this arena. According to Jon Peddie Research, the SGPU could be very impressive.
Finally, we have yet more from Microsoft, this time on the Surface Go. We have had official specs for two different models, as as well as the price and release date.
