Last week I was invited to do a lecture at the SCVi in California about what I do for a living, so I thought it was fitting to answer a question submitted by OpDDay2001 about my take on fan interaction. I've been lucky enough to amass a fanbase for the work I've produced for the last 10 years, but I myself know what it's like to be a fan, still to this day. On this week's Kirblog I discuss my personal thoughts about the connection between a fan and someone they look up to, what the line is and how appropriate it is to cross that line, depending on the circumstance. This is a subject I feel pretty strongly about, so I hope you'll be interested; I'm curious as to any particular thoughts in return on this one as well.
