Internet Culture 2020: A lockdown revelation

Having to actually go out work or seeing people you know go crazy from their city turning into a real life PVP zone for some toilet paper does wild things to your mind, including helping you notice things you didn't before as you question the fabric of existence and your purpose.
After discussing this with a gamer friend in a chat somewhere far away I realized something. Internet culture sucks and the creativity is gone. You can see this on art sites but it reflects everywhere in the internet these days, and it doesn't help that Tumblr's remnants are dictating what you can draw, say, or do online.
No more fun is allowed, only drawing garbage straight out of that art school your parents/student loans financed and caused your your art to get worse. Or creating terrible indie games about how your dad took your Xbox away after you yelled for them to take you to Taco Bell on Halo 3.
This is 2020, a virus has ravaged the world, and this is the new culture. Gone are the days of mediocrity and troll shielding, in are the days of driving the internet crazy with a hostname that signals your niche interests. Something new will arise from all of this, and that's a gamer fact. Expect to see something on this account...or somewhere else.
Do you want to be a creator, or another consumer? It's clear modern culture is about the latter, and we need to roll it back to the former.
