This year my husband made his very first cosplay! The cosplay he choose to make was Roy from Smash Brothers Melee. He never played Fire Emblem Awakening Blade so thats what his reference is from. He used various techniques to create his cosplay from scratch.
A few things he learned how to do was

-Sewing
-Wig styling
-Foam armor making
-Shoe modification
-Thermal plastic manipulation
