►Backstory
Is in the video. YouTube Description panel is too small! :-) Little snails, ugly and weak, that had been prey for all their life awaken with the help of an unknown force they call Nautilon. And want to make "the Galaxy safe again" for the Awakening of their Snail God.
They would never be prey again. They were hunters!
House Rules for now
Enemy Dangerometer
This says who is the highest danger and who we should attack if we’re in doubt who.
1. Cute Portrait Empires are always on the bottom of the meter. They seem so harmless!
2. Plants Mammals Reptilians Avians Arthropoids Fungoids Molluscs - It cannot be that your own food attacks you! (Hence the plantoid on top of it)
Provocation for the Hunt
An empire collects provocation points if it insults us or tries to get something from us in a threatening way. Also if it expands close to our borders.
Persistence in the Hunt
Once an enemy is declared he needs to be hunted to the death, which means extinction. No other war may stop us. We need to reach the maximum of our possible war gains and it always needs to reach at least 90. As soon as the war is possible again, we will start it anew until the enemy is either vassalized by another empire (harmless) or gone.
Respect for the Elder Empires
We will not attack a Fallen Empire unprovoked as we don’t know their relation to Nautilon. If they attack us though.. that’s another story!
We’re only safe with other Nautiloids
Any planets that we get through war or otherwise will be purged from other populations. We will also never accept migration treaties.
Research
We will go for technologies giving us most help in reaching safety and food for the people - also adaptability (habitability) is on our priority list. Other techs can only be considered if they cost half or less of the preferred techs. We will always go for Rare techs as they are considered Special Gifts from Nautilon by our religious leaders!
Paranoia
After 15 years we always need to have at least 70% of our maximum ship limit as force.
Safety First
We will only be able to attack if we have over 95% of our maximum ship force available and if we’re at least equivalent to the opponent.
Shells in Space
If we can expand, we should, even if we provoke other empires with it.

Our Complete Let's Play: The Cthulhu Myth - Let's Play Stellaris (Roleplay / 1000 Stars / PC Gameplay) as "Good Guys" Arkham Humans Xenophile, Materialist, Individualist 1080p60. ►Playlist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYld1FT8VRI&list=PLwfViAw_vAvIYsBybIVERqppDewrSfIQ3&index=1
►Trying to survive as the Arkham Humans:We have recreated the strange world of the Cthulhu Myth in Stellaris by adding all of the Races of the Lovecraft / Smith / Derleth / etc. cycle to the game. Now it is full of strange, slave-holding, mind-controlling abominations - out to get mankind! We are playing the Arkham Humans, trying to survive this Maelstrom of Madness :-) This is a Huge Galaxy with quite some advanced starts, so it may be impossible to survive while roleplaying our Diplomats. We will see...
►We are roleplaying the intentions of a slightly naive, friendly, xenophile nation, so non-optimal gameplay choices are sometimes made - intentionally. In a universe made mainly of the cruel killers of the Cthulhu Myth mankind still wants to look at itself and say "we are the good guys!".
