INTROSPECTION - without knowing anything about inner workings and energies, self love leads nowhere
0Focusing your love on something is wrong. Love cannot be focused, it is not something physical. A beam is physical. Light, lasers, etc are also physical, yet less perceivable. However, you can feel the heat from sun rays :) Not all physicality can be touched, after all, we only see 0.035% of visual light spectrum, so we pretty blind to the universe :3 You don't see wind, but you can feel it.
Similarly, you haven't seen God, but you worship Him. Additionally, you haven't seen your "self", but you worship it. Why would you do it, when you don't know exactly what each is? Confusion is profitable :3
Regarding love, it is a STATE of being, Either your are aware of it, or you are unaware of it. Only in unconsciousness do you taint it with psychological meaning. And the only purpose of such psychological meaning is to suit one's needs. Typically emotional ones. And in a society of ignorance, where people are trained to be sheep, not wolves, well... that meaning is not yours in the first place. But like any software, it's "installed" within your mind through "programming" from a young age, so that you function in a way that suits others' needs. You are treated just like a virus treats its host: adjusted to suit its existence. A sick society is like a virus after all, it can only spread through a host, by adapting it to suit its sick needs. And like all viruses it kills it hosts eventually.
