Introversion vs Extraversion - Quest 4
The good mic didn't pick up. I bought some new parts - I'll get it right, don't worry! :P
This is the fourth video in a series that is slowly getting more into cognitive processes, MBTI, and the differences between all our wonderful types.
In this video, I talk briefly about introversion and extraversion. There are many stereotypes that people throw out there that take away from what's really going on under the surface. Hopefully I cleared some of them up! One key to remember that wasn't focused on yet in this video is the balance that the auxiliary function brings in terms of guiding you out of your main "home world" of introversion or extraversion.
TL;DR
Introversion is a focus of mental energy on the inner world and the ideas and personal (subjective) experiences. Think of it as a defense-focused, "elf-like" mindset or a 4x / tactics game.
Extraversion is a focus of mental energy on the outer world of what's verifiable or what should be readily understood by being objectively present in the environment. Think of it as an offense-focused, "dwarf-like" mindset or a RTS game.
Disclaimer: This is all my understanding based on what I've studied in my spare time. Psychology and games are hobbies. If you disagree with anything I say, then let's talk about it :)
