Invincibility and Level Select in The Lion King (SNES) - Retrogaming Easter Eggs
6,300Disney's The Lion King for the SNES is unreasonably difficult, especially considering the game's target demographics. If you've played this game before, you'll remember how picky many of the platforming sections can be, and the perspective on The Stampede level doesn't exactly lend itself to a user-friendly gaming experience.
That said, there's an easy way to make this game a lot less difficult!
On the Title Screen, go to the OPTIONS menu and press the buttons B, A, R, R, Y. This will bring you to a hidden menu that includes a level select as well as an option to make Simba invulnerable.
Setting the INVUL setting to ON makes Simba invulnerable. Setting it to EASY gives you infinite lives, but you can still take damage.
