iPhone 15 Pro Max Cooling When Gaming Using The BLACK SHARK FUNCOOLER 3 Pro With WARZONE Mobile
25In this video I'm testing the iPhone 15 Pro Max with a cooler for gaming. I'm testing the BLACK SHARK FUNCOOLER 3 PRO, which is a TEC cooler, basically a refrigeration type cooler and not just a simple fan cooler. The game I'm testing it with is WARZONE Mobile, with its latest update to 3.2.0 WARZONE Mobile is one of the worst games to play for heating up the iPhone 15 Pro Max and causing huge throttling.

The BLACK SHARK cooler actually cools down the iPhone using a heat exchange, refrigeration type method of cooling. This basically applies a cooled plate to the back of the iPhone and not just a simple heatsink with fan blowing cooler air.
For anyone used to gaming on the iPhone 15 Pro Max you will know that it basically becomes useless after about 6 minutes or so of playing graphically demanding games like WARZONE Mobile. The iPhone essentially heats up so bad that it goes into thermal throttling and WARZONE Mobile becomes completely unplayable and totally useless. As you can clearly see here in this gameplay, that didn't happen.
After about 30 minutes or so, yes, there where the odd dropped frames. However, this is the best I've seen the iPhone 15 Pro Max play after a decent gaming session and it still manages to hit 60FPS a lot of the time.
Anyway, anyone using the iPhone 15 Pro Max, especially with WARZONE Mobile, will know exactly just how impressive the thermal performance was during this test. So as far as I'm concerned, the BLACK SHARK FUNCOOLER 3 Pro is the best smartphone cooler for gaming with the iPhone 15 Pro Max that I have come across so far.
For this test WARZONE Mobile was set to its maximum graphics with 90 degree FOV and was playing out of its HDMI output at 4K 60FPS. The BLACK SHARK FUNCOOLER 3 Pro was being powered with a AUKEY 20,000mAh battery power bank which is capable of supplying the 20w that the cooler requires.
