Almost a year ago, there was rumor about an animated Crash Bandicoot TV series. Very recently, original Crash character artist Charles Zembillas explained that a new project is in the works. Apparently, a deal is being made between Activision and a ''heavyweight'' company.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time launched last month and the mobile game titled ''Crash On The Run (iOS and Android) is planned for early 2021. I don't think this new ''entertainment'' project has to do with any game related content.

Activision owns its own in-house animation production company ''Activision Blizzard Studios''. An example of their work would be Skylanders: Academy on Netflix. With Crash Bandicoot's rising popularity, in fact, Crash 4 came in at number 2 and 3 in the UK digital top sales for the month of October 2020, is Crash headed towards the small screen?
