26Does AI make us all more productive at work? Executives are feeling optimistic, but workers aren’t quite as convinced. A new study from Upwork surveyed 2,500 executives, full-time employees, and freelancers about their views on AI in the workplace. They found that 96 percent of C-suite executives expect AI to increase their company’s productivity, while 77 percent of workers feel that AI has decreased their productivity and even added to their workload.
