Is Everslaught Invasion on the Quest 2 worth it!?

Everslaught Invasion is now out on the Quest 2 and it is a fast paced, arena based, horde-mode style hack and slash game. Hop into and smash monsters in a high mobility setting with a variety of weapons and skills in co-op multiplayer arena or go at it solo to test your skills. While i did enjoy some aspects of this game I found the overall immersion to kill it for me.

★ In Everslaught Invasion you'll immediately go through a relatively quick tutorial breaking down all the basics to get you started. Once completed your'll be transported to your airship where the real game begins. From your airship you can increase your skills, choose your gear and select your missions. Once prepared you can either go to the loading platofrm to begin or que up in a multiplayer lobby. In the expansive areanas you will face wave after wave of enemies while simultaneously completing mini games every few waves or so. Once you either complete the waves or die, you'll be transported back to your airship to level up and prepare for the next fight. There are some good aspects to this game such as the expansive, multitier levels, unique mechancs, and the co-op which always brings more fun when playing with a friend. However the immersion, at least for me, was killed due to the lack of well physics, broken voice chat, and poor visuals. Overall its not a terrible game and could be a good game if more time was sunk into it, however at this time, for its price point, im having a hard time recommending it and I hope this video helped you make an informed decision with Everslaught Invasion.
