In today's rambly video I assess the privacy ethics of Google and its competitors as well as commentating on the wider state of privacy and freedom online.

From Andrei's letter, "I saw a lot of Linux users stopped using Google and its services (Gmail, Google Docs and so on). Most of them switched to DuckDuckGo and other services. What do you think about it? Are you using Google (search engine) and its services? If so, then it means you don't really care about what's said about the privacy things and such, right? I'm just curious.

"I'm not a privacy-centric person, I'm not paranoid about privacy. I don't have anything serious to hide, I don't visit suspicious websites. I'm just a Linux user who plays games occasionally.

"I talked with a Linux user who's working for Google and he said they already have every pave of information about there is to know. Google does tend to track a lot of our activity. Now, the truth is Google's browser and services work best. At least, that's my opinion. I'd rather stick with what works best.

"I'm undecided. I see different opinions and ideas. Of course I care about privacy of things I don't want to be public, but I don't have the intention of being a ghost on the internet. Anyone can find out my full name or email. My full name is even posted on my High-school's website. Some people are paranoid about privacy and I don't know if I should be too.

"I have one more question: How are you dealing with YouTube? Having a YouTube channel requires a Gmail account and you’re not using Gmail any more, as I can see.

"Thank you! I'm looking forward to your reply. Have a nice day!"
