Is Ice Pirates Worth it? -Movie Review-
115Ice Pirates is a movie that was made in 1984 that follows the trend of big space movies that were coming out at the time due to the popularity of Star Wars and Star Trek. This has nothing to do with them aside from theme though.
In the galaxy only a single planet has water on it after all of the others have dried up. Because of this all water has become very important and precious. It's pretty much the new money.
It is harvested on the planet, stored as Ice as then transported to other planets so people can drink and live but in reality it just goes to the rich and powerful and they become more rich and powerful.
Enter our heroes, the Ice pirates who steal the ice and sell it for profit. That is until they get involved with a princess who's father has gone missing in search of the mythological "seventh planet" that is meant to have water on it.
So now they are searching for the fabled planet and getting into sword fights, gun fights and robot fights but is it worth it?
