Is Max Steel Worth It?
10Max Steel is a toy brand that has a vague power ranger look to it but a back story that is far different from them. Why toys need stories attached to them I'm not sure but it was enough for the toyline to then put out some shows and cartoon/cgi movies.
In 2014 a full fledged live action movie was made based upon these toys and these stories. When Max moves back to his home town after moving around the country he finds that his body is going through some awkward changes.
Not the normal changes either, Max is emitting a strange energy that seems to screw up electronic devices. He tries to keep it hidden but it draws the attention of an alien named Steel who just so happens to feed on that energy.
The two become friends and Steel can help him out and enhance him, even creating an armored suit to fight in. But there are also some bad aliens that want the energy as well and they are coming to take it.
So the two join forces becoming Max Steel as they fight aliens and try to keep earth safe!
