Is Intel's First Ever Core i5 CPU Still Good in 2023? | i5 750 vs Modern Games
14 years have passed since intel introduced us to the new naming scheme for their CPUs, the "Core i" series of processors (i3,i5,i7).
Amongst one of the first in that series was the server oriented i5 750,a beast of it's time, offering proper 4 cores and the capability of overclocking to reach pretty decent speeds of up to 3.5GHz.
A long time later (14 years to be exact), it's hard to imagine this CPU being any good for any recent titles, but is that true?
After all, intel equipped a lot of their older CPUs with SSE4.2 instructions, a very important aspect if you want to run any new games, so let's see what it has in store for us :)
Enjoy!
