World of Warcraft is nearly dead, according to many. An MMORPG whose glory days have long passed, only to give rise to what is now a culture of lackluster gameplay and broken promises. But perhaps hope still remains for the future of World of Warcraft. Dragonflight is the on horizon which promises to be a somewhat decent expansion, as well as the upcoming release of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, which is sure to bring in many veteran and new players alike.

Regardless though, these are perhaps the final days of World of Warcraft. Because if Dragonflight cannot deliver, and Wrath of the Lich King dries up - it's all over. The next expansion after Dragonflight will most likely be under-funded, not too many want to play World of Warcraft Classic beyond WotLK, and it's just likely that WoW will truly fade away as a good (and sometimes bad) memory in the MMO community. What do you all think though? Is this the last stand of World of Warcraft?
