Time for more Stray :)
Last time we'd got into the bad area with Seamus but had to proceed alone to find Doc. I'm so worried about what we'll find, or not find, or find but in sad pieces. I mean we're hopefully going to get an anti-Zurk gun from him but if he's dead even that won't take the edge off. He has to be alive, we all need him to be. We set off across the courtyard we left at last time and find a sort of generator quickly. Seems promising, as do the wires stretched about the area. Sure enough on the other side we find a building we can get into. Upstairs is a space that looks lived in but oddly has caged Zurks a well as another generator looking thing and a desk. Looking very promising as we head downstairs. We spot Doc from half way down as we turn a corner, a rusty robot slumped in a chair :'O Turns out he's just asleep though, thank goodness!!!
Doc has indeed been working on and testing his Defluxor weapon but he needs help getting it powered up. That's a job for a cat apparently, we're to head out and turn on the Generator we saw earlier. Everything goes as he said it would, including it being very noisy and drawing in masses of Zurks, but fortunately he can cover us from his balcony with the Defluxor. It's great, really explodes Zurks! :O After witnessing our awesomeness he combines the Defluxor with B12 to make us an all but unstoppable force, which we'll need as we now have to blast our way back to the village to get Doc home to Seamus. We set out immediately and as o immediately run int oa door we have to find a way to open. Eventually we find a way round it via vent and a lever that opens it, there's a pile of Zurks though!!! We manage to defeat them with some tactical excellence and defend Doc long enough for him to get through the door too and seal it behind them before heading for the Village.
The moment of happiness arrives at last. Seamus is standing at the door with the Guardian guy when Doc opens it. At first he's lost for words, so Doc just hugs him :') Everyone else is also happy to see him back, his invention changes the whole dynamic with the Zurks for them too. Even the Guardian guy thanks us. We deliver some more sheet music to Morusque and chill with him to end our successful day. Next time we're off through the sewers with Momo.
