EDIT: Sonic Stadium have since removed the part about backwards compatibility in their article due to it being incorrect information. However, this hasn't been completely deconfirmed, so this still acts as an interesting discussion and call to SEGA for them to not skip out on the PS5 & Xbox Series consoles.

ORIGINAL: According to The Sonic Stadium, a Sonic news source with ties to SEGA, Sonic Frontiers ISN'T being developed for the PS5 or Xbox Series consoles, instead only being available via backwards compatibility.
