Spider-Man comics have been in shambles for over a decade, and it's not hard to see why. From Dan Slott to Zeb Wells, it seems Marvel can't escape the constant backpedaling and infantilizing of everyone's favorite webhead.

Of course we all know why this is, most of the character's development and history are locked behind One More Day, so it's extremely disheartening to see this new run from Zeb Wells seemingly ignore Nick Spencer's attempts to undo it in favor of more Brand New Day sludge.

Peter Parker just isn't the character he used to be, and neither is Ben Reilly... But in JMD's new Ben Reilly Spider-Man: The Humanity Agenda, we get a glimpse into what a wallcrawler with real tangible history and a writer who loves the character can be: Amazing.
