Today’s one-minute game review is on Stray.

By now you’ve probably at least heard about this game. Playing from the viewpoint of an adorable orange cat has intrigued gamers the world over.

My wife and I, being cat owners, were certainly interested. So, we jumped on the game day-one, once it was released physically.

And although it's obvious from footage that this game has tons of character and fantastic visuals, the question remained:
Is the actual gameplay as enjoyable as the art style?
Or does Stray rely too heavily on its gimmick?

The first thing you need to know is that Stray is largely just an exploration game. Roaming around and soaking up the scenery, all while being a cat, is what this game is all about.

There are puzzle and action elements sprinkled throughout. But first and foremost, Stray prioritizes atmosphere over everything else.

If that sounds like something you want to experience, this game is probably worth your time; it’s a straight vibe.

However, if the gimmick doesn’t interest you, I doubt you’ll find the gameplay good enough to change your mind. You can skip this one without feeling like you're missing out on something too spectacular.
