Everyone’s looking for spooky games to play right now. So, let’s talk about the Dark Pictures games.
Essentially, these are interactive horror movies. Right now, there are 3 available, but the 4th game in the series is slated to arrive in late November.
I love recommending these games to people, because you really don't even have to be a quote-un-quote “gamer” to enjoy these.
Making choices and responding to the occasional button prompt is all that’s asked from the player.
Your actions and decisions shape the flow and outcome of the story. Characters can survive or die based on what you choose. But you can’t win or lose.
Also, up to 5 players can share the experience in local co-op play. Which is great for game and movie night get-togethers.
Each of the Dark Pictures games is a stand-alone experience, so you don’t have to worry about playing them in any particular order.
Although, I will say that Little Hope is my personal favorite.
