Is System Critical 2 The MEGAMAN Of Virtual Reality?
9In today's video, we'll be taking a look at the closest thing to Megaman VR we have gotten yet: System Critical 2. This is a VR action game that has you platforming and blasting enemies with much of the nostalgia of the classic megaman games.
★ After a brief tutorial, you'll be taken to the stage selection screen where you can choose from 1 of 8 different levels and bosses. You'll also be able to view the different weapons you've collected here. Once you've chosen your level you'll be transported to it via spaceship. The spaceship graphics are pretty rough. Once in the level you'll find yourself jumping platforms and blasting enemies pretty quickly and quite regularly. While it the combat doesn't feel overly challenging due to a repetitive attack pattern by the enemies, the platforming can def put you in check trying to move about while taking on a barrage of blasts. Clearing each level will present you with a boss to challenge, although it can feel relatively easy. Ckear two levels of the same icon and you'll unlock 1 of 4 weapon upgrades. Overall it's pretty fun but there are a lot of things I'd like to see improved with this game.
