Is The MMORPG Genre Dying?
10,800MMORPG games seem to have been in decline for quite some time now, World Of Warcraft is no where near as popular as it used to be, many MMOs have died and been shut down and we haven't really seen anything revolutionary in the Genre to bring people back that have lost interest, I've read thousands of comments from MMORPG gamers since starting my channel and I can't help but feel like people are getting bored of MMOs in general, so in this video we're gonna discuss the topic "Is The MMORPG Genre Dying?" In this video I talk about MMORPGs and give my opinion based on a bit of research on the topic of MMORPG games dying, The video itself took me a damn long time to make and features Cinematic, Trailer and Gameplay footage from games such as World Of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, Archeage, Elder Scrolls Online, Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn, Crowfall, Chronicles Of Elyria, Black Desert Online, Wildstar, Allods Online, Star Wars The Old Republic, TERA and many more.
Despite some advancements in the MMO genre such as Action Combat Gameplay and improved Graphics it seems like not enough has changed to keep people interested and statistically yes, The MMORPG genre does seem to be dying however stick around to the end as I've found some light at the end of the tunnel to give hope to you MMO fans.
