it's much harder to rank the smgs in bf4 as they are more unique from eachother than any variety of the other weapons classes. the mpx still holds true for me, a moderately well balanced smg with great deviation with the heavy barrel. this was the full auto accuracy cannon on the move that could still dish out enough damage to get the drop on people. now this did get nerfed in the last patch of 2016, the only smg to get changed, where the damage went from 25 to 24, removing the 4 shot potential and increasing TTK time by 25%, but I ended up loving it years after that change.
