2Is Virtual Reality a dying technology, once had so much promise but slowly dying and losing its appeal, or is it?
There are millions of gamers playing virtual reality games on various platforms (PC, Consoles, Mobile) but still, VR is struggling to get into the mainstream. There are plenty of reasons for that, but one might ask what will make VR take a big leap forward and become part of the mainstream game technologies in the upcoming years?
Oculus Rift S, which is a PC-tethered VR headset discontinued by Facebook, but Oculus Quest 2 does have an accessory that enables gamers to play games on PC like Half-Life Alyx and others.
There are also many Windows mixed-reality headsets that are cheaper to get into PC VR gaming but the future of VR is in comfortable, lightweight goggles which combines the benefits of Augmented Reality (AR) as well and for users to be able to switch between the two on the fly.
