If you ever visit this lake, consider bringing a UV flashlight—you might just discover a stunning glowing rock. Known as Euperlites, these rocks are hard to spot in regular light since they look like any ordinary stone. However, when exposed to UV light, they glow in vibrant orange or yellow. This glow comes from a fluorescent mineral called sodalite, which absorbs UV light and re-emits it as visible light. Found along the shores of Lake Superior, some high-quality Euperlites can even sell for up to $500.
