Isaac Modding: Isaac RPG Progress Update!
22In short, here's what I've added so far:
Implemented Prayer and Special submenus
Added Health, Status Effects, and Prayer Meter to UI
Added support for multiple enemies
Added more backgrounds (the total count is at 3 so far)
Added sound effects here and there
Minor graphical improvements
Bugfixes and future proofing
Added logic for winning the encounter
TODO:
Implement Item submenu (cards? pills? Active items??)
Add logic for player running out of health (game over etc)
Implement what happens after battles (overworld? battle select?)
Add more enemy types (currently only Gapers are implemented)
Add more sound effects, music, and general polish (though it looks pretty great so far)
I make no promises as to when I'll finish that to-do list, since the current items seem like a pretty heavy time investment, but I'll post an update video once that's done to show off the newer stuff.
