It Came from the Desert. The game has a bit of infamy thanks to the cheesy FMV sequences. On the TG-CD version. This is the PC version, which is lacking those. ...Ug. Still, I wanted to see what the underlying game was like, and the Cinemaware Anthology was cheap, so I picked it up.

And wow, I am genuinely surprised. i mean, I failed. I took too long, the ants are overrunning us. The game may still be salvageable, but I think it's a lost cause at this point. I'm interested to try again some other time though. But genuinely I wasn't expecting much from this game, but the blend of adventure and action works fairly well. Even if the action is a bit simplistic. Really, there's some great touches. The ants seem to follow a logic, spreading out from their location. And the flight section uses the same map that you have. There's also things that happened that I missed, and should investigate more. A much more in-depth game than I'd expected, glad I gave it a shot. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/the_nametag
