Seven games, though one I already went through on stream, in one nice little package. A collection of Capcom arcade brawlers, a genre they were particularly well known for. I decided it was high time I play through them all, even if it means pretending I have a pocket full of quarters to slam in with my poor skills.

Final Fight: The classic. One of their most well known, and beloved, games. I don't really like it as well. Scandalous, I know, but some of the stuff in this game is more cheap than not. Enemies that attack you as your standing up so you can't dodge them, bosses that zip around whenever you're in range, can hit you outside of your range, and grab you when you get into range. The characters are iconic to be sure, and are used in other Capcom games, including Street Fighter. But is the game itself that good? Well, we'll have to see.

King of the Dragons: This one I did like better. Though I am biased. I love medieval fantasy as a setting. Knights and magic and dragons are my jam. And this one seems to be, at least loosely, based on the Dungeons and Dragons IP. There was no markings in this game I saw for it, as opposed to other games where they did have the license. But it still felt pretty D&D to me. It also has a few things that make it more fun to play, though I will admit it's a little manipulative stuff. Shorter levels feels like more progress is being made. Leveling up, and upgrading your gear, even if I'm not sure how much of an impact it had just feels better for the player. Positive feedback, get those endorphins firing. Does that make the game better? Not by itself, but it did make it more fun to play. That on bosses that telegraph their attacks well enough to actually be able to dodge and respond. Though it didn't allow quite as many enemies on screen at once. Nor were any enemies, other than the bosses, bullet sponges, like Final Fight has. So yea, I much more enjoyed this one.

Captain Commando: This game is next on the list, but it is being skipped as I already ran through it on stream with the Playstation 2 Capcom Classics Collection games. Suffice it to say, it's a lot of fun, and playing a Baby Commando was hilarious enough to keep me highly amused through the whole thing. Do recommend. So far, 2/3 is not bad. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/the_nametag
