30OMORI is an Indie Psychological Horror RPG developed by OMOCAT, LLC that follows the characters Omori, Kel, Aubrey, Hero, Basil and a variety of other characters you meat along your journey.
We've been playing this game on stream for a few streams now and I've gotta say that Omori took me by surprise. I came into the game wanting to dislike it but I was quickly hooked by the cast of loveable characters, whimsical themes, and the uncomfortable undertone softly hiding in the foreground. As the games continued we've learned that everything is much more complex then it seems and its picked us up into further enjoying the game and wanting to see more.
You really need to play this game.
OMORI covers a large variety of topics that contain depictions of depression, anxiety, and suicide. It depicts with how many different characters process and cope with these topics and how it influences them, the world around them, and the inner workings of their minds.
Explore a strange world full of colorful friends and foes. Navigate through the vibrant and the mundane in order to uncover a forgotten past. When the time comes, the path you’ve chosen will determine your fate... and perhaps the fate of others as well.
