115There's a lot to love about It Takes Two, as you can see from this It Takes Two gameplay. It's a co-op game where communication is paramount, and it's forever keeping things fresh by introducing new gameplay mechanics. But Rock Paper Shotgun's deputy editor, Alice Bell, loves the little interactable toys that are scattered all over the levels. As mentioned in this It Takes Two review, explorers are rewarded with little toys to play with. As you can see in this It Takes Two gameplay, some are more involved than others – the frog with the loose teeth and the insect spa being two examples – but all of them are a delight to uncover and mess around with.
If you miss all these little extras, It Takes Two still has enough in it to keep you entertained. The main campaign is mostly good fun because of the weapons and items at your disposal, and there are loads of mini games throughout, too. It's one of the best co-op games out there right now, and will be hard to beat for best co-op game 2021. Of course, this is an It Takes Two PC review, but those looking for It Takes Two PS5 review or It Takes Two PS4 review should be able to get a good sense of the game from our It Takes Two PC gameplay.
