Italy will decide on the fate of the season in Serie A on Thursday
Italy will decide on Thursday whether and when the Serie A league will resume in football, after the forced termination of the coronavirus cause.
Encouraged perhaps by the resumption of the German Bundesliga, the Italian government seems to have softened on the issue recently.
Italy's Sports Minister Vincenzo Spadafora, who is expected to meet with the president of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), Gabriele Gravina, before the decision, says the most likely outcome of the match will be the resumption of the season on June 13 or June 20th.
But Spadafora, just a month ago, had threatened to cancel the season.
Serie A clubs have voted unanimously to resume competitions. Team training in Serie A is back.
