543IT'S THE DEVS FAULT! Epic Blames Devs For UE5 Performance
Unreal Engine 5 and the trend of poorly optimised UE5 releases with stuttering issues and way more is once again in the headlines, after Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney laid the Unreal Engine 5 performance issues at the feet of game developers. This has caused quite a stir after both Metal Gear Solid Delta was shown to have poor performance even on high end PCs and Borderlands 4's early performance benchmarks relied HEAVILY on Nvidia's DLSS 4.
After months of poorly optimised / poorly performing Unreal Engine 5 games, there has been a LOT of discussions on the state of gaming at the moment, and how a reliance on DLSS / FSR / XESS or upscaling in general, as well as frame gen, are becoming a REAL issue in the lackluster performance and the issues such as stuttering. Tim Sweeney has laid the blame at the feet of developers for UE5 KILLING games - but what do YOU think?
