Namjoon, Jin, Yoongi, Hobi, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook are arguably the most desirable bachelors in recent years. In fact, the members have had their share of dating rumors throughout their career.
As for Hobi, dating rumors of him and Kim Irene became a hot topic after the Jack In The Box listening party.
To celebrate the pre-release of his solo album, Hobi invited artists from different agencies and even those who are not part of the music scene like Kim Irene.
Irene is a Korean-American model, influencer, and television personality. Despite not being a singer, dancer, or music producer, Irene got the invite to the JITB party because of his close relationship with Hobi.
However, some netizens are convinced that they are definitely more than friends and something romantic is brewing between the two. They even claimed to have "evidence" to prove that Hobi and Irene are dating.
Irene's attendance at the JITB party was not the only time she showed support to Hobi. In fact, she flew all the way to Chicago to watch him perform at Lollapalooza. Some people had a hard time believing that Irene would spend time, money, and effort on Hobi if he's just a friend to her.
After Lollapalooza, Irene accompanied Hobi to Kaws studio in New York along with W Korea's Editor in Chief, Hyejoo Woo. Some believed that the only reason Hyejoo Woo tagged along was to prevent those Hobi and Irene dating speculations.
If that's the case, then it didn't work as the rumors were growing each day. Netizens started to dig up past photos of the pair and linked them to each other.
As of the making of this video, Hobi and Irene have not confirmed nor denied those dating rumors. Personally, I think they are just friends... for now, at least, because we don't know what will happen in the future.
Let me just point out that Hobi and Irene have been friends longer than most of us know. And wearing the same accessories may just be some coincidental fashion choices.
As for Hobi wearing Irene's brand, it could just be his way to help promote his friend's fashion line. Also, Irene's captions on her videos and pictures with Hobi looked like coming from a very proud friend.
As a Hobi biased, I am very open to him dating anyone. I respect him enough to know my boundaries as a fan.
Please remember this: ARMY may own j-hope's heart, but only Jung Hoseok can choose who will own his heart.
